Summer is well and truly upon us and the wood is flourishing. The grass will be cut around the main rides in the next few weeks, with a more extensive cut in the Autumn.
The volunteer workforce will re-commence their work in the Autumn, so if you would like to join the working parties, please get in touch via email: info@primrosehillwoodland.com and we will take it from there. There is a huge amount of cut wood, mainly from Ash trees. In October, we will have logs ready to take away, so if you want a car boot full, watch this space for the date.
We will be finishing the mud-free perimeter path around the wood during the summer, so you can all enjoy walking in the wood, even in the wettest conditions. Over time the stone will become grass covered and will be a less obtrusive feature in the woodland.
