How our woodland is managed

The woodland is managed by a group of local volunteer trustees, who use the woodland regularly and organise events. The trustees hold bi-monthly meetings.

Work started in 1997, and with land leased from a local landowner, he raised sufficient funds to get the planting – of over 20,000 trees and shrubs of 45 varieties – underway in 2000.
